STERIS Tradeshow Signage

Just wrapped up a tradeshow booth for STERIS Corporation based in Mentor, Ohio recently. What a great opportunity to design in 3-D, something I would love to do more often. It’s fun (and challenging!) to be able to design, think, and visualize on a life-size scale. I’m really excited with how this project turned out, and already looking forward to the next one!

Cleveland Design Competition – Part II

The winning pieces of the Cleveland Design Competition were photographed and compiled into a 44-page catalog to showcase the work. I designed the book and carried through the visual theme that was used on the poster to annouce the competition and call for entries (scroll down for earlier post). Here is a sample of a few spreads. The PDF in its entirety, along with photos from the event, can be viewed and downloaded here. Congratuations to all the winners!

COSE Arts Network

Wanting to promote their program and services to potential Arts Network members, the challenge was to create a tri-fold brochure that was appealing to a creative audience, as well as still feeling corporate. The images above show the final approved piece.

My original concept is below. I thought the image would speak to the audience in the way that would resonate with the creative folks. Unfortunately, it was not used for the final design. That’s ok, I’m pleased with how the final piece came together.

AZC Design

Here is a fun project that I recently finished for a good friend of mine. Her hobby is making accessories and small knitted items and is looking to start selling them. She wanted a business card that also worked as a tag for her products. Since all of her crafts are hand-made items, I wanted to reflect that in the card with the use of artwork that looked like thread to convey that hand-crafted feel. Front and back of cards shown. If you have a moment, visit the site to check out her work!
